Mark 5: 25-34
This speaks of a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years. She had seen many doctors but none were able to make her well. And, while she spent all her money seeking a cure, her condition only grew worse.
Then she heard about Jesus and believed that if she could get to him and just touch him that she would be healed. What a testimony to her persistence!
Imagine the scene: “A large crowd followed and pressed around him” (Mark 5:24) Some were blind, some deaf, some were mothers carrying children. And no doubt, the weather on that day was hot and the road very dusty. However, this particular woman determined that in spite of the crowd, was going to touch Jesus and then she would be healed. And, she was!!!!
Jesus responded to faith’s touch by asking, “Who touched my clothes?” (Mark 5:30) The woman fell at his feet and told him her problem. How characteristic of our ‘Daddy’ to respond in a comforting voice when he said, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering”. (Mark 5:34).
Jesus is just as interested in your need as he was in this woman’s need many years ago. Whatever your situation, whatever your problem, he stands ready to help you.
A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to witness about my faith to a woman who was near death. At the same time I had the privilege to hear her reaffirm her faith in jesus Christ. She sang many of the hymns she had loved as a young girl, including “Blessed Assurance” and “What a Friend we have in Jesus.” We prayed together , and the next day she went to heaven with a smile on her face. She had touched the Lord on earth, and now she would be with him in heaven.
You may be looking for answers because you are in a faltering marriage.

Remember the woman of Mark 5. She sought Jesus and was determined to find him.
When she did, he met her needs.
He will meet yours. All you have to do – is ask Him …..
My question to you is: What are your needs? Are you standing in Faith? Believe, and you WILL receive. This is Gods promise to us .
Smile, and be happy today!
