Prayer and Relationship :)
‘Very early in the morning … Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place where he prayed‘ (Mark 1:35)
Christians should be able to pray anytime and anywhere!
‘We’ cannot do without a special time and place to be alone with God. Most of us find that early morning is not an easy time to pray. I wonder if there is ever an easy time? Mmnnnn …
The simple fact is that early morning is probably the only time when we can be fairly sure of not being interrupted. Where can we go? We may walk outdoors and pray, we may go for a run – whatever we decide to do – we must arrange to pray, to be alone with God sometime every day. It is important for ‘us’ to build a relationship with God, to learn to understand Him and Ourselves. The emphasis here is on the world ‘relationship!’
The Bible is God’s message to everybody. We deceive ourselves if we claim to want to hear his voice but neglect the primary channel through which it comes.
During our quiet time with our Father, we need to remember that we are not here not to pester God, and ask him for ‘things’ but to adore Him!
I want to always worship my Father in spirit and in reality.
God is looking for worshippers!
A thought:
Does God have to go to church to find worshippers, …
or can He come to you wherever you are …
at any time …
at any place …
and find you worshipping Him through prayer or …
in your daily lifestyle and walk with Him?
Hi Debra! Thanks for following me! I love this post! It’s so hard sometimes to give priority to having “alone time with God” ~ It’s one of the challenges I’m trying to overcome these days! =) Thanks for sharing!
Hi Debra! I found you over at Comment Blogger. Glad I stopped by–when your blog opened up and there was your picture, I thought-oh! What a nice smile. She must be a nice person. 🙂
Happy to see you are loving the Lord and sharing that love. In this post, I liked this:
The Bible is God’s message to everybody. We deceive ourselves if we claim to want to hear his voice but neglect the primary channel through which it comes.
It reminded me that I need to get back in the word. It’s the only way to really enrich my relationship with him. Thanks for the reminder. 🙂
